Nothing today

Morning Map. What does the day ahead look like from here?
Nothing today. Six clients, dog walked at seven and again at six, dinner, bed by ten. Writing it down because Priyanka said something a month ago that I have not been able to put down: that I only do this when something is wrong. She did not say it as a criticism, she said it as an observation about where my attention goes, and she was right. If you read this back over a year you would think my life was one long low-grade crisis punctuated by pottery. So: an ordinary Tuesday. The nine o'clock is doing well and said so, unprompted, which almost never happens because people do not come back to tell you. The twelve o'clock is in the hard middle part and we both know it and neither of us is panicking about it. I ate an actual lunch, sitting down, outside, for twenty minutes. Danny got back at six covered in sawdust and in an extremely good mood about a staircase. There is a particular pitch his voice gets about joinery that I would not trade for anything. That is the whole day. I am aware this entry has no shape. That is sort of the point of it.
