The Ingles car park

Cried in the car park at Ingles for about four minutes and then went in and bought the things on the list. No trigger I can point at. I had the radio on, which I mostly do not, and it was not even a sad song, it was an advert for a furniture place. Possibly the phone call on Sunday, two days late, arriving the way those things do. Possibly that I have not had a week off since February and have two more weeks until the practice closes for Thanksgiving. Possibly nothing. Sometimes it is nothing and the attempt to find the cause is itself a way of not just letting it be a Tuesday where you cried in a car park. Milk, bread, the coffee Danny likes, dog food, two onions, a thing of parmesan. Bought a bunch of flowers at the end as well, which I never do, and could not have told you who they were for. Put them in the kitchen. He said, what's the occasion, and I said no occasion, and he said good, and put them in the blue jug. That was the right answer and I noticed him give it.
