Collapsed at two thirds

Collapsed a bowl at the two-thirds point, which is the most annoying point to collapse at. Everything is going fine, the wall is coming up, you can see the thing it is going to be, and then one hand asks for slightly more than the clay has and the whole lot goes over. Arlene said: you were leaning on it. She meant the clay. I spent the drive home deciding whether she meant anything else, and she did not, because she is a woman who teaches pottery on a Tuesday and not a metaphor, and the fact that I spent eleven minutes interrogating a technical note for a hidden message about my character is probably the more interesting item here. Made another one. Also bad. Better bad.
