A woman in her fifties, four sessions, one clever interpretation nine months early, and then she stopped replying, and you have thought about her several times a year for nine years.

You tell it as a training anecdote, and in that version it is the origin of everything you do well now. Underneath the anecdote is the part you do not say. That you were performing, that the interpretation was not for her but so that she would think the four sessions had been worth it, and that you wonder whether she found somebody else, which you will never know.
