PATTERN
Telling him once it is resolved

What it is
You tell Danny things once they are finished, so he hears them as news, and what that means is he finds out what has been hard only once it is over.
How it affects your life
Danny named it at the sink, carefully, with a list he had evidently been keeping for years. The handle on the back door, the thing with Dale in September, going back to pottery after the gap. He said it did not bother him, and then said what it actually costs him.
