Meaning
You keep finding out that Danny was standing on the other side of a wall you thought you were leaning on alone, and you are starting to wonder how many more of these there are.
How it shows up
It shows up as two people not mentioning the same thing for six months, for considerate reasons, in opposite directions. He did not want you to feel pushed toward your parents by him, in case it landed as him deciding something about your family on your behalf. You had it filed as a thing you were carrying by yourself.
